Run by arts charity Artists Studio Company (ASC), The Handbag Factory is a creative venue that hosts a coworking hub, contemporary art gallery, hire gallery spaces and Bainbridge Print printmaking facilities.

Based between Vauxhall and Kennington stations in south London, the building was transformed into a gallery in the 1990s and, following other iterations of the venue, ASC took over management of the building as a coworking space in 2023.

Dedicated to supporting artists, makers and the creative industries through affordable workspace, ASC is proud to continue in this spirit for our first creative coworking desks. Our affordable coworking memberships are offered exclusively to practitioners, freelancers and businesses in creative and culture sectors.

We especially welcome those who typically may not be able to afford commercial rates for workspaces, such as arts charities, non-profit organisations and community groups.
