A debut exhibition of new painting by Camberwell BA Hons Year 2 Painting students. For the first time, the studio doors are opening.

Interlude brings the work of these students into the public eye, a landmark first exhibition that marks a significant moment for these emerging artists as they step from the intimacy of the studio into the world. This is a rare chance to encounter a generation of painters at the very beginning of their public lives: bold, distinctive, and uncompromising in their individual visions. The works span a rich variety of styles — vibrant, surprising, and deeply personal, offering audiences an insight into the creative minds shaping the future of contemporary painting. 

The evening becomes something more than an exhibition as dusk falls. Between 7–8pm, the gallery transforms: intimate poetry readings and live music performances weave between the paintings, creating an atmosphere that is part salon, part celebration.
