Event Details:
Developed over five years and bringing together over 200 works on paper, embroidery, new sculptures and a participatory installation, this exhibition marks a return to public practice after a long recovery from a severe spinal fracture.
Designed as an immersive, restorative space, the exhibition invites visitors to move through it like a sanctuary. The works explore pain and care, transforming suffering into something illuminating and life-affirming, while reflecting on resilience and art’s role in wellbeing.
Blending dream imagery with chance processes, the work moves between the otherworldly and familiar, touching on cycles of growth and renewal. At its centre, a copper pyramid with appliquéd panels offers a quiet space for rest, creating an inclusive environment where art becomes a gentle act of healing.
