A multisensory exhibition reimagining presence, perception and the poetics of pause 37 artists come together in an interactive and interdisciplinary display spanning installation, sculpture, ceramics, digital media, painting, photography, bio-lab developments, jewellery, sound and participator performance.
Taking place across multiple rooms, Echoes of Stillness unfolds as a call to pause, listen and reattune. Through sensorial and embodied engagements, the exhibition invites you to dwell in altered forms of perception, exploring how acts of deep sensing and relating might become a healing refuge and a site of transformation.
The artists in this exhibition confront the erosion of contemplative space in a world shaped by extractive systems. In response, they embrace deceleration not as retreat, but as a conscious choice of presence through which meaning emerges in resonance with the body. Can stillness open a shared space for reimagining how we care, connect and repair together?
Through bodily, sonic and material practices, this collective inquiry gestures toward that which often goes unnoticed: the subtle, the quiet and the affective. Each work becomes part of a sensory archive where time resists linearity, and memory surfaces through texture, smell and repetition.
Echoes of Stillness calls for attunement to land, kinship and often invisible infrastructures that make slowness privilege for some and an impossibility for others. Instead of offering solutions, it carves out space for cultivating
quiet resistance in reaction to systemic noise.
Bringing together 37 artists the exhibition repositions stillness not as neutral, but as a terrain of inquiry where new
ways of connecting begin to take shape.
